About the Faculty

Our faculty approaches medical education not merely as the transfer of knowledge, but as a strategic process that trains physicians who transform society, produce science and can help shape global health systems. Accordingly, our educational approach is built on the principles of commitment to ethical values, scientific excellence and social responsibility. Structured in alignment with the National Core Education Program (UÇEP), our program aims to train students who are not only clinically competent but also leaders, communicators, researchers and professionals committed to continuous development.

Our education model offers an innovative learning ecosystem integrated with advanced technology. Through virtual reality and high-fidelity simulation infrastructure, AI-supported learning systems, digital health applications and data-driven clinical decision processes, our students gain an educational experience that is ahead of its time. Thanks to case-based and multidisciplinary learning approaches, our students develop clinical reasoning, problem-solving and holistic patient assessment skills from an early stage.

With the active-participation and responsibility-based approach adopted during clinical training, our students become a direct part of patient care processes. During the internship period, they take part in real clinical practice and advance their decision-making, teamwork and leadership skills to a higher level. Our faculty aims to train its students to compete not only nationally but also on a global scale, supporting this vision with strong academic support mechanisms for the Medical Specialty Exam (TUS) and international exams.

By training physicians who are integrated with technology, focused on research and innovation, committed to ethical values and guiding society, our faculty aims to become a respected reference point at both the national and international levels.

About the Courses

Pre-Graduate Medical Education

Our education program is built on the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) and the 2020 National Core Education Program (UÇEP), with an interactive, multifaceted structure that blends theoretical and applied learning. Alongside classical lectures, active student participation is fostered through laboratory practice, problem-based learning (PBL), clinical skills training, case-based clinical correlation, clinical research and translational medicine, health informatics and AI, and virtual-patient and bedside practice.

The program spans 6 years: Years I-III form the preclinical phase with a committee-based system covering the basic medical sciences; Years IV-V are the clinical clerkship phase with bedside training across all major branches; and Year VI is the 52-week internship phase, in which students take on active clinical responsibility as 'intern physicians'.

Aligned with UÇEP-2020 and shaped by the recommendations of national and international accreditation bodies, the curriculum prepares students for both national and international exams.
